Halloween Spider Web Guac
Spiders, webs, and all the snack vibes.
A spooky spiderweb guac loaded with all the toppings you crave.
Grab a chip and dive headfirst into Halloween mischief.
Ingredients
- 1 can (400g) refried beans
- 2 fresh avocados, mashed
- Juice of ½ lime
- Pinch of salt
- 100g chunky salsa
- 1 cup grated cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
- ½ cup black olives, sliced
- 2 tbsp chopped spring onions
- 4 cherry tomates, diced
- ½ cup sour cream (for the spiderweb design)
- 1 packet tortilla chips, for serving
Optional: mini fake spiders to decorate before eating
Method
- In a small bowl, mash the fresh avocados with lime juice and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy. Set aside
- Spread the refried beans evenly over the bottom of a shallow dish or pie plate.
- Spread the mashed avocado over the beans, keeping the edges neat.
- Spoon the chunky salsa evenly around the sides of the avocado to create a border
- Sprinkle grated cheese over the salsa, then scatter sliced olives, chopped tomatoes and spring onions
- Spoon sour cream into a piping bag or ziplock bag, snip a tiny hole, and pipe a spiderweb look
- Decorate with mini spiders
- Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
