Helmed by Chef Jun; a Korean born master of his craft with over 25 years of culinary experience, Kong ’s BBQ is an original Korean barbeque restaurant - with authentic charcoal grills. 

Born out of the pandemic, when hospitality faced staffing issues. Jun wanted to create an authentic dining experience that simplified the service cycle and focused on quality and the theatrical barbecue experience.

Paired back timber interiors contrast to the industrial feel of black exhaust fans, creating an impressive yet inviting ambiance.

Pleasure-seekers and barbecue enthusiasts can head to the bar to order and marvel at the butcher-like selection of premium cut meats. Choose between world-class high marble score wagyu, marinated beef ribs, scotch fillet or try the pork belly doused in a house-made secret sauce.

When making a booking at Kong’s, there is an $8.80 session fee that covers your coals and includes unlimited Banchan. Help yourself to these traditional Korean side dishes including Kimchi, Japchae, Potato Salad and Green Chili & Onion Pickle. There are ten rotating dishes to choose from.
