CHILD CARE AT MACQUARIE CENTRE

Goodstart Early Learning North Ryde is an early childhood education and care service situated within Macquarie Shopping Centre Level 2 – Silver Carpark (Underneath Fitness First’s Carpark), offering play-based early learning for children aged 6 weeks up to 5 years old. They have three classrooms – Nursery, Toddlers and Preschool which are all set up in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.

They have passionate, highly qualified, bilingual and experienced educators creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the growth, learning and all-round development of each individual child.

They recognize that the early years are critical and most important in a child’s life. It should be a time that is enjoyed, respected and valued. At Goodstart North Ryde, families are “the children’s first and most influential educators” (DEEWR, 2009). They respect the diverse knowledge, identities and relationships that families bring to the learning environments and endeavour to meet the needs of all families through ongoing partnerships.

They pride themselves on implementing quality educational programs that meet the needs of the children. Their preschool curriculum includes a specialized school readiness program, assisting children by providing them with the learning tools and skills they need for a smooth transition to primary school and beyond.
