Method
Wash your mason jars with dish washing liquid and warm water, then leave to dry.
Fill the jar with 3cm of gravel or rocks. This allows for any excess water to drain.
Fill the jar with potting mix, leaving 3-4cm of space at the top of the jar.
Open the packet of seeds and sow them to the top of the potting mix, then, cover with another 2-3 cm of potting mix and lightly water
Label your jars with the name of each herb, then place the jars somewhere inside that enjoys sunshine for most of the day.
Be sure to water every 2-3 days, and your plants should be ready for harvesting within one to two weeks.
