How long have you been with the business?
I have been with AMP Capital for nine months. Previous to AMP Capital I worked for BWS in mulitple Marketing Manager roles, with a main focus on the in-store environment. Prior to BWS, I held various roles at Westfield, across centres including Parramatta, Hurstville and Mt Druitt.  

What does your role entail?
My role of Retail Engagement Manager is to act as the intermediary between our 380 tenants and the Marketing Team. This involves understanding the opportunities and challenges a retailer may have, then working together on a marketing strategy to drive sales.

What are your top three tips for retailer success at Macquarie Centre?
1. Customer Service: To excel at the basics of bricks and mortar retail; remembering customers are choosing to come into a store for a reason. Retailers need to ensure that customer service, cleanliness and the overall experience in-store is of the highest standard. This will bring customers back for repeat purchase.
2. Agility: The retail landscape has dramatically changed in recent years with the emergence of an entirely new customer environment i.e. online, click & collect and AfterPay. Retailers need to stay abreast of industry and customer trends and ensure their business is agile enough to adapt as needed. 
3. Point of Difference: Retailers need to identify and celebrate their unique selling point to stand out amongst their competitors.

What do you do in your spare time:
Relax with my husband, two young children, family and friends. We live on a property at the Hawkesbury River, so we enjoy spending the majority of our weekends water-skiing.
