Health Alert - Measles

NSW Health has advised that a child later diagnosed with Measles visited Macquarie Centre on Tuesday 26 February, Sunday 3 March and My Health Medical Macquarie on Friday 1 & Saturday 2 March.

According to NSW Health, anyone who spent time in the same locations may be at risk of developing measles up until 21 March 2019.  Early symptoms are fever, tiredness, cough, runny nose, sore red eyes and feeling unwell, followed by a rash which starts on the face. In line with the information provided by NSW Health, Macquarie Centre management encourage any customers who visited the centre on these days and who present any of these symptoms, to contact their GP for advice.
