About ABC shops
ABC Commercial is the commercial arm of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The division, previously called ABC Enterprises, was established in 1974 and is a profitable and self-funding division of the ABC whose aim is to create, market and retail high quality consumer products which reflect and extend the scope of the ABC’s activities.
Today ABC Commercial creates and licences more than 500 new products every year - including books, audio tapes, adult contemporary, kids, country, classical and jazz music, videos, magazines, toys and clothing. The range of quality products reflects the diversity of ABC programming and features the wealth of Australia’s artistic talent.
