On Wednesday 29 July 2009 Macquarie Centre Management staff volunteered their time from 9am – 2pm at the Field of Mars, North Ryde in support of National Tree Day. In conjunction with the City of Ryde Council, Centre Management staff participated in weed removal of toxic shrubs and plants.
As the North Ryde area increases in population density with the growing business park, university and residential area, it is important that our local parks and natural environments are retained for everybody to enjoy in the future.
